’95 years ago in Breslau, Berlin and Warsaw: The Hot November’

Article in Polish newspaper describes the events of Germany’s November Revolution in 1918 in Breslau (then part of the German Empire, since 1945 the Polish city of Wroclaw), Berlin and Warsaw.

Rosa Luxemburg was released from Breslau Prison by its Governor with the arrival of the Revolution, which swept the Kaiser and the old regime from power. Before departing for Berlin, Luxemburg addressed the crowds in Breslau, which had embraced the revolution with passion.
