  1. R. Johann says:

I was on the pre-publication list at Amazon and was fascinated by the book when it arrived. I first came across her name while researching the films of Margarethe von Trotta and the incomparable Sukowa. Fortunately the film of 1985 is on YouTube, though the resolution is not very high. I convinced my German Films instructor to at least look at the book, as she said did did not read “comics.” The next morning she emailed me that after she picked it up she read halfway through it before closing it and was fascinated.
